Dr. Darrell B. Sims

docFor 23 years, Dr. Darrell B. Sims has been providing patients with exceptional oral and maxillofacial care. Highly educated, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of California San Diego in 1977 before earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas San Antonio in 1982. In 1981, Dr. Sims completed an oral surgery internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. While earning his Certificate of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1987 from the University of Texas Dental School, he completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency. Dr. Sims then earned a Oral and Maxillofacial Fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in August 1987.

A Fellow and Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Sims feels it is important to stay on the cutting-edge of oral surgery. Thus, he maintains memberships in many prestigious professional organizations to keep up-to-date on the latest techniques and technology. He is currently a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Arizona Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Phoenix Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, Central Arizona Dental Association and American Cleft Palate Association.
